Parent Post-Secondary Information Evening

We will be hosting two sessions for our annual Parent Post-Secondary Information Evening on Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. The first presentation, in the auditorium, should allay parent concerns about the OUAC (university) and OCAS (college) application process. Representatives from the University of Toronto and George Brown College will discuss application timelines, requirements and expectations. Elizabeth Henriques will discuss College “Degree” programs. A question and answer period will follow the presentations. This brief but informative evening has always been well attended. This is open to parents and students from all grades who want to learn more about the post-secondary application process.

The second presentation, for parents of students in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing program, will feature two speakers in Room 342, also at 6:30 p.m.. Tami Santimyer from Gallaudet University as well as Deanne Bradley-Coelho from George Brown College will speak to parents about programs for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
